Right now I've been pushing to get a group together called "The Herd". The concept is stilted animal costumes. Each person has their own costume, possibly preferably stilted, we all come together and become the herd. We roll into events and Spread the Word, "Have You Herd?", etc. & soforth...
We have several almost finished stilts, a couple finished, a pair of drywall stilts, and we found a guy who sells bouncy stilts for 375.00.
We need people who can help on costume design, stilt production, materials aquisition, inspiratrion, web development, shoulders to lean on, etc, etc.
I spoke with MANY stilters @ BRC last year who liked the idea and I know there are "packs" located in sf and portland. This is all becoming clearer.
