getting started with stilts

First year blew my mind!

Second year I built an art car photos.mirzu.com/gallery/burningman/05/

Third year I want to get up above the rest, on stilts.

Where do I begin? Do I make them, or buy them, any online resources I should check out. . .

      I think you have to find someone who makes them there is a guy in portland who makes them but they are pretty expensive but nice stilts. You can go straight to powerisers. Thats how i started and they are a little easier than pegs. you have to buy a hard wood with not too many knots in it if you are making your own. there are some web sites that show you how to do it listed on the stilt sites here. Ours work great so far and not super technical to make but does take some power tools usually.
